Karen Kozojet Ching's evolving style is a fusion of impressionism and abstract expressionism. Her vibrant paintings capture the essence of landscapes, seascapes and gardens that are inspired by her travels and local surroundings. The expressionistic brushstrokes dance across the canvas in a rhythmic burst of color. The luminosity is achieved through a series of transparent glazes. She also adds textural elements with sgraffito, impasto, drips, spatter, collage and iridescent and metallic paints.
