Karen Kozojet Ching

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the studio.  It has enabled me to explore beyond what I already knew.  My new direction and works may surprise my collectors, but they are a necessary part of my artistic journey.

Oftentimes as artists, we must listen to and follow our inner voice.  

That voice has given me the spiritual guidance to continue moving forward.

A reaffirming moment came over Thanksgiving 2009 while viewing an abstract exhibition at Tate Modern Museum in London.  The show began with Monet’s “Waterlilies”.  The commentary cited his painting as perhaps being the precursor to abstractionism.  Then I knew that I was on the right track.
